It’s cold. It’s snowy (kind of). We’ve already seen all the Oscar nominees. That means it’s time to fire up the TV and claim our favorite spot on the couch. That’s right, we’ve turned to Netflix marathons, and no, we are not ashamed. From cartoon trolls to documentaries, here are the binge watches we’ve been into lately.

Netflix Binge Graphic

Corey Johnson, Creative Director – Black Mirror is probably the closest thing I’ve had to a Netflix binge lately – which means I’ve watched 2 episodes of the most recent season. I don’t think I would want to watch too many of those in a row, without losing total faith in humanity and our future.

Katie Goetz, Marketing Strategist – I haven’t binged anything on Netflix lately, but I have already re-watched every episode of This is Us and I’m not ashamed. :)

Reese Turner, Designer I binged watched The Untold History of the United States. It was good to see the stuff that was not included in our history books. It was interesting to see what happened during the 1944 Democratic National Convention.

Patrick Synder, Designer – I binged the Netflix series Trollhunters with my 4-year-old over the holidays. At first, I thought it was going to be a middle-of-the-road animated series with its setup, but by the end I was surprised how much I was into it.

Sean Conlin, Director of Digital Services Shameless. William H. Macy FTW!

Shaun Greene, Account Manager I will watch The Office reruns for eternity. Best scene ever.

When I watch Peaky Blinders, I don’t understand 40% of what they are saying, but every time Red Right Hand plays it is so good.

Jason Northrup, Programmer – The closest I’ve gotten to a Netflix binge recently is catching the first season of Breaking Bad during the holiday week marathon on AMC. I know I’m late to the game on this show, and wish I would have watched it sooner. I was pulled in right away, and found myself neglecting everything from cleaning up after Christmas day to feeding myself. I hope to pick up where I left off soon, so I can catch up on the health of Walter White and see where his “business venture” with Jesse Pinkman goes next. But before I catch up on Breaking Bad, I’m hoping to binge on the last couple seasons of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

David Svoboda, Web DeveloperArcher. It’s funny.

Jeff Harrison, Art Director – I’ve seen Dexter, House of Cards, Bloodline, American History by Oliver Stone and some that I’m not going to mention, because I was forced to suffer through them.

Oops, looks like it’s time to make another batch of popcorn. Before we go, what shows should we add to our queue? Provide your suggestion in the comments below.
